About Christopher and Sandra
Christopher and Sandy courted via snail mail through the Persian Gulf War and married quickly upon his return. The fairytale wedding of the returning war hero to the maiden in distress did not long survive the Dress Blues Ceremony and horse carriage ride away from the church. As infants in Christ struggling to raise a ready-made family Christopher and Sandy began to battle one-another. Chasing answers through secular psychology led them in a seven year downward spiral where they were utterly burdened beyond their strength and despaired of life itself.
But this happened to make them depend not on man and his thoughts but on Almighty God who raises the dead. He delivered them from such a deadly peril through the sufficient truth in his Word and the power of the Holy Spirit to convict, heal and grow. While studying the Bible and biblical counseling they were raised by the LORD out of that pit of despair within two years. As they began drawing alongside others holding out Christ and his Word they pursued formal training and education. To the glory of Christ alone they continue today walking with fellow strugglers side by side closer to Christ.

More about Christopher:
Christopher’s heart was arrested by Jesus Christ shortly after returning from the Persian Gulf War where he served in the Marine Corps. Christ used biblical counseling to save his marriage and give him a passion to disciple others in the Word of God. He has served the local church in numerous leadership roles for more than 25 years. He holds a B.S. in Religion from Liberty University, a MDiv in Biblical Counseling from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and is certified by the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.
More about Sandra:
Sandy came to know of Jesus at a young age. After watching him work in her life even while she was his enemy she submitted to him in her mid-twenties, falling head over heels in love and a desire to serve him. To that end she graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, receiving an M.Div. in Biblical Counseling followed by ACBC certification in hopes of showing others the grace and love she experienced.
